Yosuke HashimotoYosuke Hashimoto began his music career as a musician who put emphasis on the writing of poetry and a sound engineer in the late 1980s. After releasing two solo albums, he formed a band called Yosuke Hashimoto Trio. Incorporating the elements of MPB, Afro, reggae and spoken-words, the band actively performed at art galleries and clubs.
Then he took part in Prints, a hard-core ambient unit led by metal percussionist Hiro Oota. The activity of the unit continued for about twenty years.
Based in Otaru city in Hokkaido, Hashimoto has been performing with a number of visiting musicians as well as influenced by local artists.
