YASUTO BEATZYASUTO BEATZ Tokyo-born beatmaker and producer YASUTO BEATZ began his career as a DJ in 1996, performing Hip-Hop and R&B across major clubs in Roppongi and central Tokyo. In the mid-2000s, he shifted his focus to full-scale music production, debuting with a placement in the Cannes-selected film "I Dont Know Camus". Since then, he has produced for a wide range of artists including Shen (DEF TECH), AZU, and violinist Emiri Miyamoto. He was previously active under the name YASUTO until 2020 and rebranded as YASUTO BEATZ in 2023. His sound blends Hip-Hop, R&B, and Trap with touches of jazz and soul, combining sampling techniques with his own piano-driven melodies to create emotionally rich and cinematic beats. In 2024, he was selected as a finalist for the BEAT GRAND PRIX presented by OTAIRECORD and supported by TuneCore Japan. He continues to expand his presence by producing music for YouTube shows and various media, pushing his sound across diverse creative platforms.
