Hakumai YamadaShamisen Uta Hakumai Yamada
Born in 1982, Tokyo.
Began learning "Naga-uta", back ground music of Kabuki,
in Kyoto art & design university.Started playing in Kabuki and Japanese dances as a singer of Naga-uta from 2007.Played at Kabuki-za Theatre, Minami-za Theatre, National Theatre and so on.
Changed the name to Yamada Hakumai in 2014
and started singing not only Naga-uta but also original songs and Sho-ka, Japanese folk songs, with Shamisen.
Play at temples, hotels, bars, cafes, some festivals.
Compose, play and create stages with many artists and companies.
Also teach singing Naga-uta and Shamisen.
Manager of Live Event "Kon Jaku Oto Hukei (The Sounds I used to be)". Belong to "Suisen", the art enterprise.
