Ryuta Rudy Yamamoto

Pianist, singer and songwriter borned in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Started playing the piano at age 6. Began writing lyrics and music and started playing guitar at age 15. Went to the U.S. as an exchange student and played in various cities at age 18. After returning to Japan and playing for various bands, started singing with a piano in 2002. Played live mainly in Tokyo, but also throughout Japan with entertaining music that is a fusion of many genres such as Rock 'n' Roll, Blues, New Orleans funk, Hawaiian music, and Okinawan music. In 2006 joined Hawaiian music band Nā Lei. In 2007 the song "Uta no uta (The Song for Song)", which he wrote the lyrics, was sung by the band from Okinawa, BEGIN. Participated in the "Utanohi (The Song's Day) concert" in Okinawa,Shibuya,Miyagi,and produced many of his own events as well. In 2010 Wrote the lyrics for, and sang "Bokurawa Hitotsu (We Belong Together)," the Japanese theme song for the Disney/Pixar motion picture "Toy Story 3".1st album"I'm On The Road Again"was out. In 2016 Hawaiian Piano Solo Instrumental album"HOME"was out. Active as an arranger and producer recently.
