Mahogany Organ All-Stars won the Grand Prize Sapporo City Jazz Park Jazz Live Contest 2016 from 361 groups. In July 2017, M.O.A. appeared at the Vienna Jazz Festival, the world's three largest jazz festival and received a standing ovation from over 2000 audiences. In August 2017, M.O.A. had a live show with Steve Gadd & Chick Corea Band and appeared in the North Jam session held at Sapporo Art Forest Outdoor Stage. In September 2017, M.O.A. had a sold out live show at Motion Blue Yokohama successfully. M.O.A. are Ken Yamamoto as a band leader who plays Organ and writes most of the original tunes, Maho Okada, young female drummer who is featured in Jazz scene , Yuta Ishii as a melodic and acclaimed Tenor Saxophone player and Yoichi Suzuki as a guitarist who has own bold and solid style with thumb plucking.
