Her career started early on in life, where she won many contests. She continued building her career in NYC, however, her mainstream debut really to fruition after returning to Japan. Her unconventional style, her broad work across genres including Japanese Pop, Jazz, R&B, and Musicals, and her performances incorporating and collaborating with dancers, created quite the sensation, leading to her growing presence on the international stage, not just in Japan. .
