Formed in 2005, the band originated from jam sessions held in the U.S. by Keijin Shu (piano) and Yosuke Kurita (sax). They launched their activities with a lineup of highly skilled musicians boasting a diverse musical palette that encompasses jazz, funk, Latin, gospel, progressive rock, and African music.
With all members contributing to composition, they fuse the diverse elements of modern jazz under the banner of "Burning Saudade." Their performances-described as stirring the heart and evoking vivid imagery-take on the atmosphere of a lively festival.
They have released a total of seven albums, including the major-label title "Feira" (Victor Entertainment).
In 2016, they created "Taiyo no Ki (Arcore de sol)", the official theme song for the Sumida Street Jazz Festival in Tokyo.
In July 2020, they participated in JAPAN EXPO MALAYSIA 2020 GOES VIRTUAL, held in Malaysia.
In 2022, they created "Ongaku no Ki (Soundviews of the Tree)", the new official theme song for the Sumida Street Jazz Festival in Tokyo.
In September 2025, they held a sold-out 20th anniversary concert at the Taiyo Pharmatech Hall (Osaka Takatsuki).
In June 2026, they released their seventh album, "Thanks for Delight 20th Anniversary Concert".
They have garnered support from a wide range of audiences across the country as a band where performers and the audience become one to share in the enjoyment of the music.
