Tomoya Furuta

Tomoya FURUTA was born in Gifu(Japan) in 1991. After graduating Kikuzato high school music department in Nagoya, he graduated in his class under Prof. Genichiro Murakami from Toho-Gakuen college music department in 2014. He graduated Mozarteum University Master of Art degree solo piano training and postgraduate university course under Prof. Andreas Groethuysen as a scholarship student from Yamaha music foundation. He has won numerous prizes including the excellent prize at the 24th audition of Japan Piano Teacher Association(2009), Nagoya mayor prize and audience prize at the 19th project for young musicians in Nagoya(2014),first prize at the 7th Andrea Baldi international piano competition(2017),first prize at the 3rd. Melos international music competition(2018) and 3rd. Prize at the 2nd. Krystian Tkaczewski International piano competition.As accompanist, he got special prize in Kagamihara music competition.(2010) He performed all over the world such as Salzburger Festspiele, Salzburg Kammer festival in Mozarteum, recital at Schloss Frohnburg and Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, recital in Bologna, recital at Japan industry pavilion in Shanghai Expo and duo concerts in Germany.
