tohko is a Japanese Singer / Born in Tokyo,Japan / A unique crystal high tone voice like no other. Since the age of six, she has been a member of the "Otowa Yurikago-kai", Japan's most traditional children's choir, and has performed in the welcome chorus for the first visits to Japan by the late former Princess Diana and Prince Charles, as well as in a children's song concert at Carnegie Hall in New York. In 1998, she made her debut as a singer from "Pony Canyon"(Record company) with "BAD LUCK ON LOVE~BLUES ON LIFE~"(Debut single music), co-produced by Tetsuya Komuro and Daisuke Hinata. She won the "Japan Record Awards" for Newcomer of the Year and "the All Japan Cable Radio Award" for Newcomer of the Year for her 3rd.sg music "Fuwa Fuwa Fururu". Her stage appearances include the role of Cosette in "Les Miserables" (Imperial Theater),etc. To date, she has released 13 singles and 5 albums including a best-of album.The 20th anniversary album, the first original album in 19 years, was released in 2018. Recently, she has been active as a theme song singer and songwriter for Japanese "Bishojo Games". She has also appeared in a number of TV variety shows, and her unexpected side has become a hot topic.
