Tico Moontico moon was formed in 2001 by harpist Yuka Yoshino and guitarist Toshihiko Kageyama. In the autumn of 2021 marking their 20th anniversary they launched their own label Atelier Comotino,and released their 20th anniversary album Niji he (To the Rainbow). In July 2023 they released Tomei na Nukumori (Transparent Warmth)a song written for NHK s program Minna no Uta featuring Risa Nakagawa on lyrics and vocals as a digital single and as part of an album of the same title. In 2024 they formed moon bird with Beautiful Hummingbird. After releasing new music, they completed a highly successful concert tour in Finland in May 2026. In July 2026, they will release tico moon, an album celebrating their 25th anniversary produced with numerous guest artists.
