The LatesRock band from Nagoya, formed in 2023.
The band's sound has roots ranging from 1950s jazz to the contemporary UK indie rock scene, and its lyrics create a unique world view.
All members write lyrics and have distributed four singles and one EP with five songs to date.
On 12 July 2025, the double A-side single 'Bathroom/Narziss' was released. Influenced by Jean-Philippe Toussaint's The Bathroom and Hermann Hesse's Narziss and Goltmund, both songs have philosophical lyrics focusing on the human inner life and musical elements of post-punk and baroque pop.
