Strip JointStrip Joint is a Japanese indie rock band, formed in 2017 and based in Tokyo until now.
After more than 10 singles and EP releases, the band released their first album "Give Me Liberty" on KiliKiliVilla in 2022.
Musically, the band features lyrical songwriting by guitarist and vocalist Daiki Kishioka and a diverse sound by the six members, including trumpet and keyboards.
The band was formed in 2017 as Ceremony. After a change of members, the name was changed to Strip Joint in 2019.
Currently, the band has six members: Daiki Kishioka (guitar and vocals), Aya Tominaga (keyboards), Momoka Amemiya (trumpet), Hiroyuki Nishida (drums), Rio Shimamoto (guitar and chorus), and Kei Nakatsuka (bass).
In April 2026, they will release their 4th single Umi ni Kaeru (Return to the Sea),followed by their third album later the same month. This upcoming album expands on their previous work, both sonically and conceptually, marking a new phase in their artistic evolution.
the band is actively performing in Tokyo, building momentum through a combination of live shows, music releases, and social media engagement. Their strategic approach connects each element to continuously grow their audience.
