Stargaze was formed in April 2023 in Sendai, centering on Vocalist su-i and Guitarist nodatan.
Nodatan, who had been creating introspective worldviews based on loud rock, approached su-i, who was active in Japanese music covers and uploading on YouTube and SNS, and they began creating music that blended their respective personalities.
Soon after, Mokhata (bassist) and yassy (drummer) joined to form the current four-piece female vocal band.
On December 26, 2023, their first single 'your silhouette' was released.
On January 8, 2024, the first live performance was held at Sendai Rockateria. Their 2nd single 'searchlights' was released on the same day and received high acclaim from overseas.
On July 25, 2025, their fourth single 'Cassis Orange', their first release in a year and a half, was listed on the official Spotify playlist 'Seishun to Ixtusyum' (Youth and Moments).
