SOZEN OTSUBOBorn in 1999 in Hiroshima, SOZEN OTSUBO is an artist, audio engineer, and producer operating as a solo project. His early fascination with sound led him to create about 100 tracks and edit video during high school. After refining analog console engineering and film scoring at a music vocational school, he expanded into artist work, song production, and sound design, guided by a distinct sensibility and strong technical skills. As a solo artist, he developed "Yamabico" with a nursery school. In the unit BL4CK PEARL with singer Vela, he composed "Dawn," the theme for Kenji Yanobe's "SHIP'S CAT" at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka, and "ANTINOMY" for Baron Ueda's "SPINYZ." He also supplies music for visual works and other artists and creates remixes. Beyond creation, he applies his own methods to mixing and mastering, supporting nearly 200 tracks annually across major and independent releases. He mixes his own work in Dolby Atmos.
