SHOCK MATESHOCKMATE was formed in Chiba Prefecture in April 2026.
In a world overflowing with shocks, they want to deliver "good shocks" through music. This four-piece men's band was born from that desire.
Members, staff, and listeners-through music, they stand shoulder to shoulder, converse, and navigate this difficult world together. That's "SHOCKMATE."
They express "the present," "humanity," and "the future" realistically through music. They want to communicate through music with people who are struggling to live despite the difficulties of life, and with those who find it hard to even get through the night alone.
Even if the number of people is small, it doesn't matter. They want to create music that deeply resonates with people, enough to change their lives.
They create music by blending various genres such as folk and Japanese popular songs, based on rock, dance music, Celtic/orchestral music, and pop.
Music that won't be consumed and forgotten. Music that stops someone in their tracks, music that deeply touches someone's heart.
