[Shamon]is an unique rock 'n' roll band of monks who are supposed to spread the teachings of Buddha. They create unprecedented Buddhism songs ever - a fusion of the melodies, having been loved by the Japanese since the ancient times, and of those of rock 'n' roll. Their purpose of forming the band is to create the sounds, which is meant to help the people easily understand the Buddhism. Their sounds, loved by people regardless of age and sex, present a new form of Buddhist missionary.
