At the age of 14, he studied under Tsugaru Shamisen Koyama-ryu Shihan's teacher, Koyama Koseiyo. After that, he was selected in numerous national competitions. Currently active as an exclusive player for Ayako Fuji, as well as performing with many large artists such as Mansai Nomura, Sayuri Ishikawa, Momoiro Clover Z, Kiyoshi Hikawa, and Arashi (PV appearance), and performing in an orchestra concert of the popular game Touken Ranbu. In addition to being active in a variety of fields, regardless of genre, he has also set up the "Seikiokai" in order to pass on traditional culture and has been working hard to guide successors.
