RHYRHY began his career in the Kansai region under the name DJ RYOHEY and rebranded as RHY in 2022.
Rooted in Bass Music Culture, he has established a distinctive musical identity through an open-format style that seamlessly blends HIPHOP, House, UK Garage, Jersey Club, and beyond. His refined mixing techniques and storytelling-driven grooves have become defining elements of his sound.
After relocating to Tokyo in 2018, RHY was appointed as the Sound Producer of WARP SHINJUKU in Kabukicho, Tokyo. WARP SHINJUKU achieved a career-high ranking of No.31 in the world-renowned DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs, earning the highest ranking in Japan and becoming the highest-ranked club in Asia. It has since grown into one of Japan's largest and most internationally recognized nightlife venues.
His floor-oriented selections and skills honed through years of experience have earned widespread support both domestically and internationally. In addition to performing at major clubs across Asia and beyond, RHY has appeared at ULTRA JAPAN, one of the world's premier music festivals, as well as ABEMA MIX, ABEMA's popular DJ live program, continuing to expand his presence across diverse platforms.
Beyond his work as a DJ, RHY is also actively involved in music production, including releasing his own works, producing for other artists, collaborating on various projects, and providing music. He has also collaborated with the internationally acclaimed Japanese taiko entertainment group DRUM TAO, developing a unique approach that bridges club music and Japanese culture.
Furthermore, he successfully completed a nationwide tour across Japan, further expanding the scale and reach of his activities.
From clubs and festivals to production work, RHY continues to transcend genres and borders, delivering his distinctive groove as a DJ and Sound Producer.
