RENGAYAWe live in Fukuoka, so that is mostly where we make noise, raise hell, mess around, and drink. We are a band.
Our name comes from Rengaya, a place in Dazaifu.
Home to Dazaifu Tenmangu, the shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, Dazaifu keeps cropping up in Japanese history. Apparently, it was a pretty big deal politically and militarily.
By the way, none of us actually live in Dazaifu.
