REIREI began his career in 2015 as a member of the Shibuya-based hip-hop crew kiLLa under the name KEPHA. kiLLa's cutting-edge Tokyo style garnered much attention, including a nationwide tour, but the group was often forced to take a break. In 2025, the 10th anniversary of her debut, she launched a new R&B project under her real name, REI.
The project's unique sound style is a fusion of the vibes of two cities, Tokyo and Toronto, its new base of activity.
