ouirouHe began playing drums in the sixth grade and launched his career in 2017 as a member of the rock band Edawakare. During his tenure, the band released four albums and performed at numerous high-profile events, including MIKROCK 19 and MINAMI WHEEL 2022, in addition to hosting their own release shows.
Since departing from the band at the end of 2023, he officially transitioned into a career as a solo drummer in 2024. He has since been actively involved in a wide range of live performances and studio recordings as a support musician. Currently, he primarily serves as the support drummer for YRD Leo, having performed at their solo show at Umeda CLUB QUATTRO in April 2025. His 2026 spring schedule includes upcoming performances at Shibuya eggman and Umeda Shangri-la for YRD Leo headlining concerts, alongside ongoing collaborations with various other artists.
In parallel with his work as a drummer, he established his solo project ouirou in 2025. This creative endeavor explores unique soundscapes that evoke fragmented memories by layering environmental sounds, field recordings, and vocal snippets. By collaborating with artists across different disciplines, he continues to expand his creative reach through a genre-defying approach to expression.
