Oono SayoGraduated from the Popular Vocal Department of Osaka College of Music. Started studying gospel at the age of 16, and performed as a soul bird choir in events such as the 24-Hour Television Charity Live and the 10,000-person Ninth Symphony, as well as backing choirs for famous artists such as Miho Fukuhara, Anna Tsuchiya, and JAY'ED. While accompanying Yoshimi Tendo and Hiroshi Itsuki on their TV appearances and tours as a backing vocalist, she formed her own choir. She has performed at a wide range of events, including weddings and countdown shows at hotels, and won first place in the Over 40 Award at eo music try 2016. She currently broadcasts daily as a live streamer on the streaming app SHOWROOM, and has also formed the piano and vocal unit "w claire." With a clear, powerful voice cultivated through gospel singing, she sings originals and covers, from touching ballads to upbeat songs, and is active mainly in live houses and live streaming. The official cheering song for the professional basketball team, Toyama Grouses, and professional handball team, Aranmare Toyama. The ending song for the movie "Dull Color Chocolat Ville" is also in charge. "FLY HIGH", released digitally in May 2024, was used as the ending song for Kansai TV's "Foot Map" from July to September. "Nostalgia", released digitally in January 2025, was used as the ending song for BS Yoshimoto's "Tozai Nanboku Yoshimoto Mahjong League Season 4" in January.
