Artist Profile
OMIYUKI CHANNELA music unit formed in 2008 by Young-G and Big Ben of stillichimiya, a movement based in Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Their first album, "Omiyuki-san," was released in 2010 by Maryjoy Recordings. They have produced and remixed numerous artists, including stillichimiya, Tagaryu, NORIKIYO, BRON-K, Chinza DOPENESS, CHIYORI, Meiso, and Rumi.
Inspired by the spirit and worldview of "Omiyuki-san," a festival held in their hometown of Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and also a nickname for Konohanasakuya-hime, they develop a "Togenkyo sound" that blends a local perspective with a global sound, using retro-futuristic and unique sound creation with analog synthesizers, samplers, and electronic taishogoto.
