OIL JINFormed in Tokyo in 2023 as "RANCHIKIGAI" centered around Fumie (Vo, Gt). Released their 1st EP "Outtakes" in 2024, followed by their 2nd EP "Out of Outtakes" the next month. Held their first fully donation-based/self-organized live event "Out of Parties" @ Sasazuka Majestic Studio in October.
On April 1, 2025, the group renamed itself "OILJIN". They released the singles "Love Song", "Executioner", and "Interface" consecutively during summer-fall 2025. In November 2025, they held their self-organized event "Shiopandekichauyo" at Shimokitazawa SPREAD. Their music, born from each member's background, encompasses post-punk, J-POP, hardcore, dub, and psychedelic elements. Unbound by conventional rock band structures, they redefine themselves as "all of you in music."
