misaki umeiBorn in Hyogo in 2002, Misaki Umei began playing the piano at age four and started the Electone and composition at six. After winning awards at numerous piano and Electone competitions, she graduated from the Department of Composition at Tokyo College of Music.
Her career highlights include being selected as one of the 25 Japanese artists for Rolling Stone's "Future of Music" and performing at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25 "ROOKIE A GO-GO." In July 2025, she released her first solo album, Asleep Above Creatures.
In addition to her activities as a pianist and composer, she is known for her seamless work across various projects. This includes her solo career as well as her roles in units such as "haruyoi" (with Shoka Sugano) and "°pbdb" (with Fuki Kitamura), drawing attention for her versatile approach to modern music.
