mineo kawasaki mineo kawasaki is a drummer and electronic music composer living in Japan. In recent years,he has been performing throughout Japan as a solo performer. In his solo project,he plays drums while manipulating effects with a MIDI controller on tracks composed with influences from post-rock, indie-emo, electronic, minimal, techno, and ethnic music. He is using a lot of sampling from vinyl on tracks. So far,He has toured Canada twice as a solo project which was very well received by the audiences.This year,he is set to release several recordings on European labels. And following 2023,he will perform again at Sled Island 2024. He will be touring several canadian cities and Iceland in June and July.
