MIMAn instrumental band consisting of four members on guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums.
They brand themselves as a "J-Pop instrumental band you can sing along to", creating music defined by irresistibly catchy melodies and a pop-meets-rock sound, even without lyrics.
All production - songwriting, recording, mixing, and artwork - is handled entirely by the band members, embracing the charm of a fully handmade approach.
Since around 2019, the group had been active only sporadically, with guitarist Yuki Ishii, bassist Mayumu Hidaka, and drummer Hiro Masanori meeting a few times a year to jam in the studio. In July 2024, keyboardist Ryosuke Kasagi joined, marking the start of their full-scale activities.
