Midori IkedaMidori became interested in Jazz during high school. She trained under Martha Miyake in order to become a Jazz vocalist.
She has performed with Kazumi Watanabe &c.
Following this she continued her music career as a pianist by singing at hotels and clubs in the metropolitan area.
Currently, as a pianist, she has been performing in hotel lounges and playing live music in clubs with a band.
She also teaches young people Jazz piano.
In 2000, she appeared in a movie called, "Zawa Zawa Shimokitazawa" (directed by Jun Ichikawa, starring Ken Watanabe and others) and wrote a movie soundtrack.
From 2002 to 2003, she was a radio host at FM Katsushika.
In October 2007, she published her semi-biography entitled, "God Has a Plan"
