Michiko FujitaMI KO(MICHIKO FUJITA) is one of the very few professional English handbell soloists in the world
based in Japan
She captivates audiences across eras and cultures with her unique
expressive style performing a wide repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces

She studies music theory under composer and pianist Koki Tajiri whose guidance
has further refined her artistic depth
MI KOs musicianship has earned strong
international acclaim including becoming a finalist in the Folk Instruments
Division of the 25th and 26th Osaka International Music Competition winning
the Gold Prize and the Excellent Creativity Special Award at the
Debussy International Music Competition 2025 (Percussion Professional)
