METEOR are Japanese new wave band, formed in Tokyo in 1996. The line-up consist of Kaz-u (vocals, programming, electric bass, shamisen), Hirock(guitar, vocals). Rooted in 1980s Technopop, the group covers wide range of music from Japanese folk songs(minyo) to new wave. And the original song is Technopop, new wave and new Japanese folksongs(minyo). Furthermore,an original 3D CG animation synchronizes in all song of METEOR. METEOR add modern SF-like interpretation to Japanese folk songs(minyo), and sing and connect Japanese folk songs(minyo) to the future.
