Since 2021, after becoming ill, words began to overflow from within me and never stopped.
I express poetry, words, and sound across various social media platforms.
From April 2025, I began using the name
Megumi Hanasaki exclusively for my lyric writing and artist activities.

Even now, while continuing to battle illness, I

There were many times I almost gave up, but I chose the path of doing my best with what I can and living my life fully.
From October 2025, I began a new journey as a Poetry Music Artist,
incorporating a form of expression that
combines my work as a poet, lyricist, narrator, and essayist.
Poetry Music is a rare musical genre that blends lyrics, spoken word, and melody.
I feel that the current music release system in Japan tends to overlook the importance of lyrics.
As an artist who lives with words, I aim to share their beauty and depth,
and to keep reminding people how powerful words can be.
am always searching for words that can encourage myself.
