Keiichi Miyashita, also known as mandog, debuted in the early 90s in a jazz band playing Django Reinhardt style, but left the band after a few years. After that, he produced music by mixing his own guitar with sounds reconstructed from samples taken with an AKAI mpc3000. In the early 2000s, he was invited by Damo Suzuki of CAN to join his group and toured the United States. He also performed solo guitar on a radio station program covering New York. Since then, he has toured Japan, Korea, and Europe. He is currently back in his hometown of Tokyo and producing music.
