Often feeling internally lost and got lost capturing one's identity from their upbringing, they experienced the struggles of self-concept and trying to live beyond stereotypes. From growing up in Tokyo, Germany and Southern part of America, influenced by a global palette of music cultures to now, making music that is defined by strong character and sense of self, Leon Top's path has been one of the unique lessons learned. The Tokyo based artists, consists of twin sister Mai and Yui, avoid being pigeonholed into any one genre; their music moves from edgy alternative pop to nostalgic folk sound. Leon Top is an exploration into a world beneath the surface.
