Kumiko Yabu

Kumiko Yabu is a musician, percussionist, improviser and composer. Kumiko based on Kyoto, Japan. She works for sight specific with percussions and gamelan. she has created a solo gamelan gender album 'Concert for starlit sky' in 2015. As a musician she collaborated with Dario Moretti (Live painting theatre project) in Italy. She is leading improvisation based gamelan group called "Sekar Gendis" in Kyoto. As a composer, many composition and played for theatre performance. Since 2013 started Roof-tile music project with Makoto Nomura.
