Formed by singer Kanbin, producer SKYTOPIA , and bassist Kuroji in 2021, the Tokyo based band KOMONO LAKE describe their music as "natural city pop". Mixing genres such as city pop, Showa era songs, and modern Japanese soul/R&B, they aim to connect the rural sounds and landscape with the urban.
