KommuneA Tokyo-based unit. It consists of vocalist meyumo and beatmaker/guitarist Konfig.
Based on alternative R&B and electronica, Konfig's beats, which develop tracks with a unique heaviness and flowing sound, combine with meyumo's husky and mellow vocal style to create a new sound.
In August 2024, they will release their first EP "CARDINALITY", and in November 2025, their first album "LUCA". In April 2025, they will perform at the Showcase Festival "music bridge tokyo". In September 2025, they will perform at the Ringo Music Festival 2025. In December 2025, they will hold the Kommune Asia Tour 2025 (Indonesia, Philippines, Tokyo).
In addition, the collaboration single "tempus" with Reugene, released in January 2025, was picked up by London music radio station Reprezent (107.3 FM), and the single "Flamma" released in February of the same year was also picked up by the playlist "New Music Friday" of NPR Music, an American music media outlet famous for Tiny Desk, and has been a hot topic overseas.
