In 1992, "J−GREN KENTA " becomes the head of the gangsta team豪丸壱"GOUMARUICHI", which held greatest ground on Numazu, Shizuoka. In the same year, he started to hold hardcore party as he himself becomes hardcore DJ. Inspired by DR.DRE, J−GREN KENTA came up with "SLAM and FUNK" which was the mixture of Hardcore, Psychobilly. And Gangsta Rap, which later becomes his source of his music.
In 1996, after short visit to States, J−GREN KENTA moved to Tokyo to establish Japanese Gangsta Rap Unit, "J-GREN". Although he has been jailed for several years for his injury case, J−GREN KENTA inaugurated the label "Serusio g Recordz" and releases the first album "JapanG ~呼応しろ~" after been back on the street.
Today, J−GREN KENTA is not only a musician, but a producer, MC, track maker, fashion designer, director, martial artist, and a father of two children. With these various experiences, J−GREN KENTA produces the music that is one and only in respect of way of Samurai.
