KEN OKUMOTO Born in Okinawa, Japan In 1997, he made his major debut as DA PUMP (ISSA, YUKINARI, KEN, SHINOBU) with Feelin'Good -it's PARADISE-. He has been in charge of writing lyrics and choreographing all of DA PUMP's single songs, and has also shown his side as a director as well as a choreographer at their live performances. He has also collaborated with various dancers with an interest in culture on Chukyo TV's dance program "Super Chanpuru," as well as being in charge of the program's music direction. After leaving the group in 2010, he formed Ryu-UNIT with former DAPUMP member YUKINARI. Currently, in parallel with his activities as a solo artist, he choreographs for major artists, etc., and also works as a director. He is also involved in a wide range of activities, such as opening a dance school to train artists and dancers.
