To date, he has dived into more than 1,000 caves in 30 countries around the world, both domestically and internationally, focusing on unexplored caves, and is actively engaged in exploration and photography.
In addition to being involved in filming TV programs, academic research, and training cave guides, he has appeared in numerous media such as Jyotsu Tairiku, Crazy Journey, Matsuko's Unknown World, and World Mystery Discovery.
His books include Cave Fool (Fusosha), The Wonderful World of Cave Exploration (Chikuma Shinsho), I'm a Dog Explorer (Poplar Publishing), and Cave Explorer (Futosha).
