Artist Profile

Kagura

Kagura is a Japanese rock band with hard and mellow sounds, performing under a strong slogan, "For our future and children around the world!" Formed in 1996 by members who got together by calling out from vocalist URA, Kagura showcased many energetic performances focusing on Shibuya (Tokyo) area as an experimental project, and then, the band ceased its activities in 2002. The Great East Japan Earthquake that happened on March 11, 2011 triggered old members to come together again, and Kagura rebooted its activities in 2012, in order to energize people around us, around the globe. In 2015, Kagura became Japan representative in the Hard Rock Cafe sponsored global contest. Here is Kagura, which continues to evolve.
