ieyasuIn the winter of 2023, Iwamura (Gt, Vo), Kon (Syn, Cho), and Iwamura's friend Syoyu (Drums) formed ieyasu as colleagues at work.
The band name originated from Kon's request to use a person's name or a place name for the band. They create a unique sound where shadow and light blend perfectly, crafting danceable tunes that carry the restlessness and irony of people striving to live their lives.
It's too stylish to be called punk, too edgy to be pop, and too intense for laid-back alternative listening. Yet, it hits the spot when chart-topping rock feels boring.
