IDE AYAKABorn on July 19, 1993, raised in Toi, Kushima City, Miyazaki Prefecture, famous for being home to a population of 100 wild horses, with an American professional dancer mother and a Japanese father who was active in a band in Fukuoka. They started playing the piano at the age of 4, and soon began creating songs, writing lyrics, and expressing themselves through music. In 2011, they made their major debut from Victor Entertainment while still in high school. Since then, they have released four singles and three albums. In 2012, they became the fastest Japanese artist to appear on MTV Unplugged. They have provided many CM songs for brands such as High Cholesterol C Plus, Pantene, Yoyogi Seminar, and Clairol, and produced the theme songs for the NHK dramas "Tightrope no Onna" and "Konya wa Kokoro dake Daite." In July 2022, they restarted their music career in earnest and held a one-man tour after a five-year hiatus. They released a self-produced mini-album titled "Stepping Stones" and organized a collaborative event with other bands, actively engaging in live performances and music production.
