HOTOKE Formed in Nagasaki, the westernmost city of Japan, in late 2008, this five-piece deathcore band has been actively touring across Japan while remaining rooted in the Kyushu scene. Known for their distinctive stage presence and a sound that blends crushing heaviness with unexpectedly danceable grooves, they have shared the stage with numerous leading artists across a wide range of genres throughout Japan. The band has also performed alongside major international acts including THY ART IS MURDER (AU), Despised Icon (CA), Slaughter to Prevail (RU), TEN56. (FR), Signs of the Swarm (US), Born of Osiris (US), Fit For An Autopsy (US), Oceans Ate Alaska (UK), and Betraying the Martyrs(FR). Their diverse live activities include successful performances inside U.S. military bases in Japan, further expanding their reach. With their explosive live shows and genre-defying energy, they are quickly becoming one of the most exciting heavy acts to watch from Japan.
