houA singer who cherishes the moment and resonates with the atmosphere, often improvising. Through numerous collaborations and co-creations with artists across genres, hou has brought her music far and wide--from cafes and outdoor festivals across Japan to local festivals, and at times even overseas. In 2023, hou released "IKINYA-BUSHI," an ode to her peers living in this era, on a 7-inch vinyl record, created with guitarist marron aka dubmarronics. She also performs under the name Houko HyugaNatsu, presenting arrangements of folk songs from her hometown of Miyazaki. She occasionally holds voice workshops in nature. Guided by the bonds of sound, she continues to explore the cosmos and sing of hope.
