THE HEAT"THE HEAT is a band formed in 1980 in the hot spring town of Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture. It started with vocalist Kikukawa and his childhood friends from the neighborhood, who were inspired by the British rock band The Rolling Stones. Despite going through numerous member changes, they continue to be based in Kumamoto and actively perform live, now in their 44th year since formation. In October 2024, they finally achieved their dream of performing in London. With all members in their 60s in 2025, they plan to continue their energetic activities."
