GREEN SOXBased in Fukuoka, Japan, this dynamic hip-hop trio is making waves with their unique sound and undeniable presence. Led by Vancouver-born producer DJ MATTO, whose unparalleled skills and signature style shine through his production of all their tracks, the group is rounded out by two original rappers from Fukuoka YUDA AID (PRIDE MONSTER FAMILIA/BEATSDIELLAZ/HYDRA/BW) and Ra (Zashikiya/COTTAGE GANG). Together, they deliver a fresh, authentic hip-hop experience.
Their debut album, GREEN SOX, dropped in winter 2023 and soared to #14 on the iTunes Japan Hip-Hop Chart.
After this achievement, on January 30, 2024, they launched a limited-edition cassette tape containing rap and instrumentals via Fukuoka renowned record store DARAHAbeats, which quickly sold out.
The group has also released music videos for standout tracks RAP MUSIC,SPECIAL MONDAY, and GET LOOSE on YouTube, building anticipation for their upcoming sophomore album. With two new projects in the works, this Fukuoka-based crew is poised to take the global hip-hop scene by storm.
