GorillamatsuriesFormed in 2017 by Ayato Koga (vocals, guitar, etc.), Shun Hirano (recorder, trumpet, etc.), and Yuki Funakoshi (melodica, keyboards, etc.) within their high school wind ensemble, the group began full-scale activities in 2020. While energetically performing live shows in a flexible trio format or as a full band with guest musicians, they also create radio jingles, movie theme songs, and original soundtracks. This trio from Shiga has garnered attention for their versatility in seamlessly shifting between instrumental and vocal tracks, their challenging yet somehow mature arrangements and performances, and their playful yet approachable pop songs.
