CREMONALABO

CREMONALABO A new style of woodwind quartet that continues the legacy of Astor Piazzolla and connects to the "next 100 years" of classical music. The quartet is the only chamber music group in Japan specializing in Piazzolla's music, and has played more than 50 pieces, all of which were originally arranged by the quartet themselves and performed from memory. The ensemble makes full use of counterpoint and challenges new acoustic effects, and its clear sound image and stoic performance are unrivaled by any other ensemble. A promising new star who is a must-hear for all music fans. Their third album, "The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires," was ranked No. 1 in the New Arrivals category of Amazon's Classical Ranking, and was selected by Record Geijutsu magazine as one of the top 10 classical composers in Japan in 2021. Selected as a "Special Recording" in the April issue of the magazine.
