BWP & FUNKY HEADLIGHTS is a Tokyo-based pop band which is known for its danceable "City Pop" sounds affected by soul, funk, R&B, AOR and jazz music. The recent work of the band "Umi-ni-ikouyo/Shall We Head to the Sea?" which was released in 2017 with the beautiful cover illustration by Hiroshi Nagai, a world-famous illustrator, has been phenomenally successful.
