the Blue Lagoon StompersThe band was formed in 2012 by steel guitarist Shingo Shiraishi, guitarist and vocalist Kenji Fujimoto, ukuleleist and vocalist Kazumi Yoshii, and drummer Ian Downer. In 2016, bassist and vocalist Ema Maeda joined the band.
They have released three albums to date.
They are a Japanese Hawaiian band that continues to evolve, with original songs that express themselves as they are in a Hawaiian band arrangement, and new interpretations of traditional and standard songs.
They are currently working on an album with the theme of everyday life.
They have performed with many artists, including Alani Yuki Yamauchi and SANDII.
